Merchandise must be in like-new condition in order to receive full credit. Products that require gas to operate cannot be returned after gas lines have been connected.

Tie in purchase requirement with washer.

I had an LG washer that I purchased in 2006 that recently failed. According to the Home Depot web site installation was included. I had an existing pedestal base that I planned to reuse. When the installation team arrived they told me that they could not the washer on an existing pedestal base because LG would not allow it and it was a potential liability problem. Furthermore I was told that I could not purchase a new pedestal later and have it installed the pedestal would have to be ordered with the washer. Apparently this has been a problem for some time because I found others customers had had the same problem not only with Home Depot but also with Best Buy. I tried contacting LG customer service but was basically told too bad and was switched back to Home Depot customer service.
