F45 Error

In our previous house we had all Frigidaire Professional appliances for over a decade without any issues. When we moved we had the builder utilize all the same appliances and this oven has been a nightmare. In just one year the oven had to be replaced due to the F45 error. It has now been two years since the replacement and now that oven has an F45 error. Never will buy another Frigidaire after this ordeal.

ordered during pandemic for new home. installed November 22, does not work error F47. customer support sent local repair (they are great) to service. first service call need to order parts, second service call damaged part received, third service call part installed still error code. i might understand repair of a unit a year or two old, but new and has never worked. at this price point i would think a replacement unit would be in the correct response. we purchased four items, fridge, freezer, double oven and microwave. only 50% work. oven and fridge need repair. maybe a little quality control

F45 error

I bought a house with a Frigidaire 30" double wall oven, less than 2 years old. They work well except for a recurring F45 error which is supposed to indicate low speed on the cooling fan. This happens on both ovens. I have to turn the oven off for about 20 minutes and then restart it. So far this has fixed the issue but it is a real pain and shouldn't happen in ovens this new.

Run Away From This Oven

Honestly, the biggest piece of garbage I have ever owned. Installed in a new house, brand new oven. First attempt to use it, the fan on the upper oven sounds like it is going to grind through the metal. No worries, I have a second oven! Nope, then this oven throws an error code and will not operate. Have had techs out to the house twice, no communication either time. They say it is working great, I get home, turn it on and the fan still is sounding like metal on metal. Should have bought the KitchenAid. Also, the knobs are garbage and make it so difficult to fine-tune what temperature you are wanting to bake at. Luckily my oven still hasn't worked two months after moving in so it has been pretty easy to not burn things...but seriously, bad design.

The oven works well, I have to say, but the appeal of the Viking knock-off controls wears off rather quickly. The knobs don't easily correlate to the temperature markings--in fact, you can't even see the bottom of the dial markings without bending over to look at them. Also, the knobs make it harder to clean. I would find a model with a touchscreen for better accuracy and the ability easily clean.

I purchased this oven just over 2 years ago. Right from the beginning I had difficulties with it not working well. Nothing cooks even, it has terrible hot spots. When I first put in my complaint, Frigidaire sent out a repair man who didn't have any answers but decided to put in new main control panel. I saw no difference in performance. After calling again they sent another repair man who had no further answers. Since then I have called several times with no adequate answers. As I read other customer reviews, it seems Frigidaire's customer service must be the problem. People expect to every now and then get a lemon of a product but customers also expect a company to intervene in situations like these. Apparently this is not something Frigidaire is will to do. Therefore, I will avoid Frigidaire products in the future.

This is the absolute worst kitchen appliance I have ever owned! New construction house, all new appliances, closed September 2021; we have had we over 5 service visits. Latest service visit today 6/28/2022. Initial test worked , however, I let the double ovens run for less than 8 minutes and the main overhead cooling fan started growling for the second time. The service provider has replaced numerous parts with no success. We have been without a working oven in the house for three of the months since we closed last September. Absolute garbage!

F45 error on top and bottom oven , only 2.5 yrs old

This oven was installed with our Lennar home but I do not like that you can™€™t see the temp as it preheats. We have also been struggling with the F45 error and shut off for the past 6 months. Some days it takes 4-5 tries to get it to preheat as it keeps cutting off and giving that code. This shouldn™€™t happen at 2.5 yrs old.

My fridgidaire oven has never baked well. I have had 5 repairs appointments, and still bakes so unevenly. The bottom oven, things burn on the top and raw on the bottom. I am told that is normal to be 50 degrees off from baking. My oven is less than 3-4 years old and I am ready to toss it out. I repeat--DO NOT BUY A FRIGDAIRE double wall oven--ever! I did get the extended warranty, but it bakes horribly--even after 5 service calls. Really!! I have nothing good to say about this product.

My wife and daughter were so excited to finally get a double oven. Contractor finally got installed and it hasnt worked since install. After numerous phone calls to Frigidaire about the error code F45 on display the first time we tried to use it, they sent a tech out . He arrived and said I needed new cooling fans in both upper and lower ovens, because I cant use either oven because of this fault code. So it was installed on March 28th, and its now the 19th of April and still no working oven. So we had to cancel our Easter dinner at our house, which my wife is not happy about. Frigidaire rep said they would put a request in to replace the whole unit since it was new and that would 5-7 business days . Once again that time as passed and have not received the email or call they said I would get.

We have had this oven for well over a year now. Overall I like the oven. It bakes reasonably well and pretty evenly. I didn™€™t think I would like the ™€œNo Preheat™€ function as it seemed like a gimmick but I do like it and use it. It works well. Our major complaints are: 1. This oven is so loud! It™€™s awful. It is very distracting just to try to have a normal conversation in the kitchen when the oven fan is running, especially during preheating and after the oven is shut off. The fan is so noisy and continues to run for 30 minutes or more after the oven is turned off. Guests repeatedly ask about the sound. 2. The timers are terrible. They are tedious to set but worst of all, you can™€™t hear them. Even if I am in the kitchen I can™€™t hear them half the time. If someone is talking or the sink is running you won™€™t even hear them. If you are in another room you mine as well not even bother using them. I use my phone alarm/timer instead. If you can™€™t hear a timer, it really defeats the point of having it. A dollar store timer is more functional than the one on this oven. Unacceptable for a professional line appliance.

Bought brand new from Designer Appliances. Before it came out of the packaging, could see the control panel was off on one side. Found that screws weren't properly attached. Was able to fix that without much issue, but I wouldn't expect the average home owner to manage it. Turned the oven on and it immediately began to rattle and the fans made a rising and falling thrum as resonant harmonics from unbalanced fans set vibrations throughout the cabinet. The convection fans visibly wobbled when spun by hand. Not just 1 fan but all 4 to some degree or another. One of course was the worst. Opened a case with Frigidaire. They sent out a tech, he called Frigidaire support and stated that the oven sounded like "a washing machine". The Frigidaire phone support person told the tech that he needed to replace the convection fans. The tech didn't have an oven dolly, so he had to reschedule. The company sent a different tech for the reschedule who said "the oven sounds normal". I went back to Frigidaire, they sent a different tech company out. The tech said "it sounds normal". Somehow, the initial techs assessment that it sounded "like a washing machine" has been erased. The initial Frigidaire phone support who said "you need to replace the convection fans", has had their instructions nullified. The oven still sounds terrible. The fans still wobble, and Frigidaire's official stance is that "its normal". I now believe Frigidaire. That its normal, for their ovens to be built with unbalanced convection fans. When 4 out of 4 fans aren't balanced and running smoothly, its not just one bad oven, its bad manufacturing. Odds are the replacement fans would exhibit the same issues. Its normal for the Frigidaire Professional line to be made with poor build quality and unbalanced fans. That's what you should expect when you buy the Professional line from Frigidaire. But the oven looks nice.

Doesn't heat, doesn't hold heat

Today's experiment and the results follow. I bake so maybe most of your customers don't know or care about what these ovens do or don't do but it's important when you bake. I tried to bake bread today. You preheat to 500 turn it down to 475 when you load and down again 425 25 minutes later. At 20' 27528' 35037' 440Pre-heat light turns off at 39' 450 NOT 50045' 43049' 420 This is where I had to load the oven anyway because the bread couldn't wait.Turned down to 475 and pre-heat light came on.Turned off at 56' at just 4351'4" 4051'15" 400 TerribleTurned it up to 500 and down immediately to 450 & got the preheat light to come back on1'20" The light turned off 425 still short 501'26" 415 dropping againTurned it up and down again to get it to turn on1'32" Light turned off at 425.You get the idea. It doesn't heat to temperature, doesn't hold temperature or reheat when it needs to. Waiting nearly an hour for it to get to 420 is a ridiculous waste of energy. I am 58 years old and have had a dozen ovens. This one doesn't work at all. I have tried everything since these were installed to get them to work for us. They haven't worked a single day.

This is the loudest oven, the fan is constantly running and there is a humming sound. I wasn™€™t expecting this from the professional grade appliance.

My new ovens have been installed about one week. Love how quiet they are while warming up and cooking. Currently getting used to new controls. They look good and looking forward to easy clean up. Really like how bright the oven lights are a huge improvement from my last ovens. It looks like the light bulbs will be very easy to replace when the time comes. Also love the fact that the bottom heat elements are not exposed, should make cleaning a lot easier. I wish that the current oven temperature was displayed somewhere so I would know what temperature they are at as they heat up so I estimate how soon I can put food in for cooking. I will have to purchase a second oven thermometer to remedy this. I also can't believe how quiet the sound of the timers is. A couple small beeps and that is it. You have to be standing beside them to hear it. If you are in the laundry room forget it. A timer needs to be loud, repetitive and annoying so it can be heard above everything going on in the kitchen. I will have to purchase a couple of timers to ensure I will not miss hearing them.

Only been using this oven for 3weeks now. I love the versatility of having 2 ovens. Did not have a problem getting Christmas dinner cooked for a change. Need to work on the shelves a little bit. They are new and do not slide in and out easily. Cooking is even, have already made dozens of cookies and they came out perfectly.

Beyond Frustrated

I am beyond FRUSTRATED with ALL of my Frigidaire appliances. We purchased our new home last year September 2020, ordered a new refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave and cooktop (all professional line) appliances in October/November 2020. Within 6 months we had to have ALL the cooktop, microwave and refrigerator serviced, with the exception of the dishwasher (knock on wood). Fast forward to this year, we wanted to stay with the Professional line since that is what we purchased last year. Received the brand new double wall oven this afternoon, 12/15/2021. Within 30 minutes of the installers leaving the stupid oven gives an Error Code message (F47). My husband has been on hold for more than We have spent over $7,000 for appliances for them not to work!!!! We were told that the Professional product line was the top of the line appliances for Frigidaire. I will be writing to everyone about my issues. I will also be writing up reviews on all of my social media pages. This is ridiculous! I was about to go with another appliance company but decided on Frigidaire because I figured that I would have more problems with the other brand. I should have followed my first mind because I am beyond frustrated with Frigidaire Professional. And to make matters worse.... it's the week before Christmas! How in the heck am I supposed to host dinner with a busted oven!!!!!! If I could give a negative -5 stars I definitely would.

Received the wall oven November 13, after a 8 month wait after ordering it. During the initial burn off we had the Mysterious error code F47 occur. Contacted Frigidaire where the first CS rep told us we should return the unit the place of purchase...not that easy! Second CS rep arranged for a repair man to come visit. They have attended twice and are ordering parts.....still can not comment on the performance of the unit. Provided 2 star as the unit looks beautiful and has finished our kitchen. Will update (with hopefully a higher grade) one the unit is fixed

Defective PC Board on Arrival

This product did not live up to expectations, nice installed both ovens create a F50 code, which is that PC board can not determine Knob position. After troubleshooting myself I call tech support who sent a tech to tell me exactly what I already know, tech ordered board . Still waiting

Mysterious F47 Error Code

Having an open mind. This will be our third unit. The original oven had an F47 error code that lead to changing the circuit board twice, then the cooling fans. Then the clock wouldn't keep time even after it was changed. Second oven was delivered worked great four times then the F47 error code again. We are now on third unit hoping for the best. Thing is even Frigidaire doesn't seem to know what F47 error code is. We have had our voltage checked on each leg of our 220 plug and all is good with that. We are keeping our fingers crossed everytime we turn it on.

we bought this in January 2020. 1 year 8 months later having replaced a door and several fans the oven does not hold temperature and we get frequent error menages indicating thermostat or fan faults. total waste of money and time.

Frigidaire Model FPET3077RFD - Do not Purchase

Do not purchase this wall oven. We paid extra when we purchased our house to have all Frigidaire Pro-Line Appliances thinking they were professional quality. What a mistake... Currently the Wall Double Oven is not working again. It was last repaired on March 9, 2021 because there was a F50 error code, making both ovens inoperable. This means the Relay Board was defective and needs replacement. The cost, with installation was $455.13. Used the oven last night and the oven stopped working and I got another F50 error code. I believe the oven, since new (December 2018) was used less than a dozen times. The bottom oven was never used. I believe this oven was poorly design. The Relay Board is located behind the front control panel (where display and knobs are mounted) directly above the oven. There is no insulation preventing overheating of this component. Please read the other reviews on this product...

Beautiful, and good features, still figuring out temperature adjustments

We installed this about 5 months ago, and we cook a lot. My wife has been baking bread for over 20 years, and we previously used a Gas Wolf oven. Following the same recipe and process that she has for years, the breads tend to come out over cooked. We are decreasing the temperature settings in 5 degree increments to see if that will help. If I can update this review in the future i will. For cooking meats, it's done very well, cooking quickly on the outside, and then going lower to get a perfect roast. We like the features of the oven, like the 'no preheat' option, which almost acts like a toaster oven, meaning you can pop in some frozen bread, or a slice of bread with cheese on top, and it'll be ready in minutes. We love the look and feel of the oven. The soft close doors are great, and the knobs are also great. We're not big touchscreen people. Love that it has Shabbos mode, too.

This refrigerator came with my new home build. I absolutely love it. I love the different compartments in the organization for the refrigerator. Also never had a water ice dispenser but I™€™m finding I drink a lot more water because of it. I would recommend this refrigerator to anyone.

Installed March 1st. March 27 stopped working due to error. March 31 Electrolux came out said easy repair, he had seen it often his fix did not work, dropped oven because he was alone. Asked for new unit this one had been used 6 times, bottom over never used and now was dropped on floor. Said he would try replacement cooling fan motor. Would be out April 12, called April 9th cancelled no part. Worked 27 days out of order for 15 days with no end in sight.

Excellent double wall oven

We remodeled out kitchen and went to a double oven setup with this model. It functions great in terms of cooking/space. The timer and preheat chime could be louder/more distinct but there are lights to assist with these. Overall, we are very satisfied with this double oven.
